Esther's Wanderings

With Melissa Borko Tevere, artist, event organizer, and founder of Mamacita, a very cool organization for mothers in the arts. We knew each other from a distance back in Springfield High School, and just re-met via Facebook. Melissa got enthusiastic when she heard my music online, and invited me to play at a pre-mother’s day arts event at the HiWay Theatre in Jenkintown, PA. It was a pleasure in every way - great sound, a great film screening of “Who Does She Think She Is?”, a lovely brunch, and an artists reception afterwards where Mamacita artists displayed their work. And it all benefitted the HiWay Theatre. My mom (appropiately!) came along with me and we both had a great time all around.
